    Inter University Championship 2022


    Inter University Championship 2022 games started with the Men’s and Women’s badminton championship on November 11, 2022, and carried over till January 8, 2022 with the participation of over Sportsmen and Women representing 16 state universities for 22 sports disciplines. The Games, conducted by the Sri Lanka University Sports Association (SLUSA) with the financial backing of the University Grant Commission (UGC). The Inter University Championship 2022 held after 2 years break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.


    University of Ruhuna have secured places of following games.

    • Swimming (Men) Champions
    • Table Tennis (Women) Runner-up
    • Weightlifting (Men) 2 nd Runner-up
    • Taekwondo (Women) 2 nd Runner-up
    • Elle (women) 2 nd Runner-up
