Faculty of Engineering University of Ruhuna and Kanazawa University, Japan entered into a MoU and Student Exchange Agreement on 20th of December 2022 at the Senate Room of the University of Ruhuna.
This MoU will promote scholarly collaboration and cultural interaction between the two countries, Enabling student and academic exchange, joint research collaboration, collaborative conferences seminars, workshops and exchange of academic and other information.
The signing ceremony was headed by Vice Chancellor Snr. Prof. Sujeewa Amarasena in the presence of Prof. E.P. Saman Chandana, the Deputy Vice Chancellor Mrs. P.S. Kalugama, The Registrar of UoR Prof. P.B. Terney Pradeep Kumara, Director-CINTA Mr. G.L. Erathna Deputy Registrar Legal and Documentation Prof. G.G. Thushara Chaminda, coordinator of the MoU and representatives from Faculty of Engineering.
